Singapore parrot

This photo was taken while in Singapore Zoo. I was about to leave a walk-through enclosure, when this parrot swooped down just over my head, and then landed on a branch above and behind me. In that one or two seconds, I turned and pointed the camera up at the parrot, and took this shot. Definitely a very lucky one, but it’s absolutely one of my favourite photos.

Singapore Zoo is absolutely worth making time for if you visit the area, and I’d highly recommend the “Breakfast with Ah Meng” experience where you can enjoy a light breakfast with an orangutan family.
